Join us as we bring first responders and bereaved survivors together to share, listen and recover some of the humanity and hope in all of us
There are many hands that play a part in caring for someone with a substance use disorder. When someone dies from an overdose, others tend to cope by forgetting the humanity in everyone involved. Some see so much death and devastation that they put a wall up to be able to get through the day. Others are so distraught by the loss of their loved one that they search for reasons and blame in the first responders that tried to save them. We write others off thinking that will help, when it brings more disconnection and harm to everyone involved. Join us as we bring first responders and bereaved loved ones together to share, listen, and recover some of the humanity and hope in all of us.
